Max Hunt
Corporate Development Manager
Max joined us in January 2023, after embarking on the well-trodden path of Kiwis seeking new experiences and opportunities in London.
After completing his Finance and Accounting degree Max started his career with one of the “Big Four” accounting firms where he worked in the Corporate Finance and Private Business teams, while also becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA).
When Max arrived in the United Kingdom, he was unsure of his next career step. With no previous experience in mining or chemical engineering, the chance to be part of an early-stage business seeking to build one of Europe’s first lithium refineries and enable our planet’s transition to sustainable energy was too good to miss out on.
Max is our Corporate Development Manager, a role that sees him collaborating closely with our CEO, CFO and external advisors. His primary focus is on fundraising and strategy, while maintaining essential investor relations. In the fast-paced and agile environment of Green Lithium, Max has rolled up his sleeves and continues to grow in his role as our business develops.
Outside of work Max enjoys travelling and has a passion for the ocean where he holds his Rescue SUBA license. Other active hobbies include skiing, golf and rugby although the latter is as a spectator these days.
