As a merchant refiner, we’re a technical chemical production company that can take lithium-bearing materials and convert them into high-quality lithium products. We are following a systematic programme approach, first developing in-house piloting capability in Teesside in the UK, then building a UK-based demonstration plant, before progressing to the development of a 50,000tpa output, £1bn+ annual revenue commercial facility.
Raw material flexibility with no ties to a specific ore:
We have already tested multiple sources and maintain advanced relationships across the global supply chain e.g. with binding agreements for pilot/demo supply.
Sales flexibility to produce either primary chemical:
We have focused our IP development and engineering plans on being able to produce lithium carbonate and hydroxide and have signed sales MOUs for both.
Waste material saleable as a commercial byproduct:
Having patented our waste re-processing, we have now commercialised the product and have ongoing dialogue for binding commitments from multiple offtakers.
Lower-carbon hard-rock lithium refining process:
Independently verified 75% CO₂ reduction versus current refineries operating in China, with R&D opportunities being explored to further reduce energy requirements.
